Kibblewhite Cylinder Studs are made from 180,000-psi, fine grain, heat treated, low-alloy Ni/Cr 8740 steel. Kibblewhite rolls the threads and then centerless grinds the entire body of the stud. Rolled threads create the toughest and strongest tread possible and centerless grounding removes notch sensitivity. Kibblewhite studs are then encased with premium corrosion resistant Black Oxide.
